The Granville Island Model Trains
Museum is home of the world's largest collection of model and toy trains
on public display.
The Granville Island Museum houses many collectable trains, including:
The Royal Hudson, Lionel Trains, "O" Gauge, "G" Gauge,
Standard Gauge, Steam Locomotives and Tender, Transcontinental trains,
Brass Locomotives and many more toy trains.
The Granville Island Model Ships Museum is home to an impressive international
collection of submarines, battleships, and toy boats.
The products in our store basically cover all three collections, but you
won't find many of these unique collectibles anywhere else in the world.
All prices are in Canadian dollars, which means that if something is priced
at $10 Canadian, it is only costing you just over $6 American.

Thanks to a $1.7 million donation
by Ken Walley and his family- the largest such cash donation the museum
has ever received - a new addition inspired by the vision of Joyce Walley
and her work as an education docent and museum trustee has been made possible.
The Joyce Wally Learning Centre will have 5200 square feet of exhibit
and programming space equipped with the latest in technological features.
Yuquot: The Centre of Our World has closed to make way for Honouring Our
Basket Makers Opening in October This exhibition, subtitled Woven Lives
of the Musqueam, Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw, and Tsleil-Waututh, is
a collaboration of the Vancouver Museum and three local First Nations.

The Museum is located in Vanier Park, at 1905 Ogden Avenue.
The Vancouver Museum and the HR MacMillan Space Centre are also in Vanier
Park, and we're just a short stroll from Granville Island.
We are easily reached by bus or car, and we have a parking lot (please
allow two hours' parking).
False Creek Ferries stop just outside our door.
Opening Hours: From Victoria Day (the fourth Monday in May) until Labour
Day (the first Monday in September) the Museum is open daily from 10 am
to 5 pm.

Located in historic Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, the Chilliwack Museum and Archives are operated by the Chilliwack Museum and Historical Society. Since its inception in 1958, the Museum and Archives have developed one of the largest and most important archival and object collections in the Fraser Valley.
The Museum is housed in a historic building near Chilliwack's downtown - the 1912 former City Hall - where you can view historic exhibits on the main floor and contemporary art shows on the second floor.
The Archives, located in Evergreen Hall a few blocks from the Museum, is the place where visitors can access historic artifacts and records.

Summary:
The New Westminster Museum, located in the new Anvil Centre cares for over 35,000 objects and another 35,000 archival records that celebrate our cityâ¬(TM)s stories and history.
We currently have openings for programming volunteers. Each applicant has a short interview with a museum staff member to assess suitable placement. The next step is an orientation (about two hours) on either a weekday or a Saturday morning. Orientations for programming volunteers are ongoing. Volunteer positions in programming are suitable for students and English learners.
